Overview

​

'Forest Fortress' was produced for an assignment on 'Prototyping for Technical Designers'.

​

Based on mobile tower defence games such as 'Kingdom Rush' and 'Bloonz TD', the player is tasked with defending a gate from multiple waves of increasingly challenging enemies.

Role​

 

This was a solo assignment so I needed to design and develop the solution from scratch.

​

This encouraged me to branch into previously new areas such as audio design and enemy AI.

The gallery below shows some samples of my work on this project.

Outcome​

​

Feedback from user testing sessions reported that the solution was fun to play, looked pleasing and felt polished, and could be expanded into a demo.

​

This piece of work has just been submitted for assessment and a final grade is expected soon.
